Pam would like to thank everyone for their support and announce that she has brought in a new partner. Her name is LaTisa Brooks. She is the founder of Classi Scorpio Inc. She is responsible for some of the new changes made to Piccadilly. She will handling all Piccadilly managerial duties and in charge of Lunch at Piccadilly, happy hour and event coordinator. Please stop by and welcome her. She has brought in her ideas and years of experience that will bring more business to Piccadilly and create a way people can have a good time in town.

Law Library lecture: Basic Bankruptcy for Debtors, March 11, 2010

Redwood City-Bankruptcy is a means for debtors to obtain financial relief through liquidation or reorganization of debts. Maureen Lainez & Monica Murphy of Lainez & Murphy will provide an overview of the new law and filing options for those considering bankruptcy at a noontime lecture at the San Mateo County Law Library, Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 12 noon. Foster City Arts & Wine Festival –Resident Artists Exhibition - June 5 & 6, 2010

Call for entries! Artists of all mediums, including sculpture and photography, are welcome  to participate. Foster City residents and employees are invited. Art pieces must be completed within the last 2 years. Entry deadline , May 20, 2020. Entry forms are available at the Foster City Chamber of Commerce, 1031 E Hillsdale Blvd, # F. This is an excellent opportunity for local artists to show their individual artistic talents.

Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Time Change

A resolution was approved by the City Council on February 1, 2010 to change the meeting time of the Foster City Parks and Recreation Committee from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This change will become effective at the next scheduled meeting on March 3, 2010.

Prepare Your Garden with Free Compost Spring 2010

Back by popular demand and in appreciation of resident participation in the curbside yard trimmings program, RethinkWaste and the City of Foster City have teamed up to give away FREE compost.

Free compost events will take place from 8 AM to 5 PM, or as long as supplies last, on the following dates in Spring 2010:

  • Saturday, March 13
  • Saturday, April 10

Additional dates are likely to be schedule in Fall 2010.

PJCC Invites Local Artists for First-Ever Community Art Show
