FITNESS TRX BOOT CAMP
The Body Studio for Fitness is offering a fun 4-week, 45-minute, high intensity morning boot camp class incorporating the TRX, starting March 15th running through April 12th. We will meet every morning for this outdoor boot camp style class from 6:15 AM -7:00 AM Rain or Shine. Sneak out of the house & get your workout in before the household even stirs! Participants can choose a Five day, or Monday-Wednesday-Friday option. It is a great way to start out your day! This class is high intensity, but small enough to adjust for individual fitness levels. Foster City to Participate in Health Department Emergency Drill
On March 11, 2010, as part of the San Mateo County Health System’s “Silver Dragon IV” emergency drill, Foster City, Belmont-San Carlos and Cal-Fire Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) will go door‑to-door in Foster City delivering earthquake preparedness information from 9 AM until noon. CERT teams will canvass Neighborhoods 1 and 2 and Metro Center areas.
Special Notice of Planning Commission Vacancy
The City of Foster City is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission to fill a new full term from June 1, 2010 to May 31, 2014.
The Planning Commission consists of five residents of Foster City over the age of eighteen years. Appointments are made by the Mayor upon the recommendation and approval of the City Council.
Interested residents may apply by submitting an application form to the City Clerk stating qualifications and objectives for desiring to become a member of the Planning Commission. Application forms are available at City Hall or by calling 286-3250 or you may download an application. Applications must be received by the City Clerk up to 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2010. Applications may be hand-delivered or mailed to the City of
